What is the most valuable thing you took away from completing the chapter 8 discussion worksheet with your partner? What did you learn about the characters that you didn't know before?
This should be a full paragraph that references the discussion you had with your partner(s).

I learned about how all the characters especially Boo are not as crazy as they seem. Although some of these rumours may be true about Boo, it does seem he could be a regular person. Also we learned of Jem's maturity has increased since joining 2nd grade. Finally Scout feels excluded due to the fact that Jem doesn't seemed interested in talking to her anymore

DeleteI learned a lot from chapter 8. one thing that I learned is that boo isnt the bad character but he is good and trying to be nice I also learned that jem is very interested in boo and his family. Also, Atticus cares about the kids and he cares about the neighborhood. Over all I learned a lot from chapter 8.
ReplyDeleteAfter completing the chapter eight discussion sheet I learned many new things. I learned that Jem has matured a lot throughout the story. I also learned that Boo isn't a crazy person like people say, he's actually really caring and nice. The last thing I learned was that Atticus has become more reasonable.
ReplyDeleteThe most valuable thing I learned from the Chapter 8 Worksheet is that Boo isn't the bad character he is put out to be. I learned that Jem is very interested in the radley family. We also learn that Atticus is concerned about Jem and Scout getting involved with Boo. Scout is mature for her age and she is kinda scared of boo.
ReplyDeleteThe most valuable thing that I took from chapter 8 was that Boo Radley is not an evil man. I learned that he is a very kind man. When Scout was waiting outside the Radley's house during the fire, Boo went out of his house, and gave Scout a blanket because it was cold. This shows that he wanted to do something kind and compassionate for Scout. Also, Scout doesn't think that Boo is a freak anymore.
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing is that Boo Radley is not not a bad person. He is shown as a crazy person in the beginning but as his character evolves he is shown as not a crazy person. The rest of the town and the kids all believe that he is crazy. But as the fire happens and the way they communicate over the pot whole shows that maybe he is not a crazy person.
ReplyDeleteDuring the fire at Miss Maudie's house, I learned a lot about Boo. He is actually a good guy and the rumors don't describe him at all. During the fire, he stealthily put a blanket around Scout without her knowing. She later found out it was him. This shows his caring and Boo not being a bad person
ReplyDeletethat Boo Radley isn't as bad as he seems. The people in the town of Maycomb made up a bunch of rumors that the kids believed. But, when the kids went to go find out for themselves, they realized that he isn't that bad. He put a blanket on Scout at the fire, and nicely folded Jem's pants and sewed them up.
ReplyDeleteI learned that Boo Radley is caring and that Jem is very interested in him.
ReplyDeleteThe most valuable thing that I took away from the chapter 8 discussion is that Boo Radley is a very caring and compassionate individual. I realized that Boo Radley was the one leaving the packages for Jem and Scout. When leaving the packages, Boo was trying to be nice and give presents to the children. Also, Boo Radley was very caring towards Scout when he put a blanket over her shoulders. He must have noticed that Scout was shivering and wanted to help her. From these instances, I was able to change my opinion on Boo Radley, and realize that he is actually a very caring and compassionate person.
